Fitness is more than weight loss and muscle gain. While those results can be rewarding, at Austin Fitness and Coaching we believe that an exercise program that is challenging, safe, and progressive, is an integral part of a full and meaningful life. Our programs specialize, not only in strengthening your body, but building your character and community, while relieving unwanted stress and anxiety. In other words, we lead the mind with the body.

I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher and when I found personal training as a forum, I never looked back. Early in my career I remember walking the floor of the gym and realizing, “If nothing else, everyone here is unified in their belief that their choices can improve their lives.” I was inspired. Here was a world that valued nutrition and exercise as important parts of preventative healthcare. What’s more, I came to see that fitness acted as a metaphor for a life that embraced principles like focus, consistency, leadership, and connection in every aspect…and it was fun too!

My wife and I live just south of town with our two sons. We love getting outdoors and seeing/playing music. In addition to that I am a founding member of Austin Indie-Rock band Quiet Company.  I hope to have a chance to invite you by the studio or see you out at a show!
